HEPLER CONSTRUCTION WINS BUILDER OF THE YEAR FOR SECOND YEAR RUNNING
Winchester, VA - Hepler Construction, a Winchester based home builder, has been awarded the "2002 Builder of the Year" by the Top of Virginia Building Association for the second year in a row.
Dave Hepler, owner of Hepler Construction, received this honor from his peers as a result of his dedication to his profession and his community. As well as serving as a board member to the association, over the past year, Hepler won top honors in the 2002 Parade of Homes in the multifamily category and his townhome project was selected as "Best Overall Value in Parade" by the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORS. Mr. Hepler, known for his custom homes, has a townhome project in Stephens City that he began because he felt there was a lack of affordable housing in the area. He feels very strongly that as a homebuilder he has an obligation to build for every category of home buyer.
Last year Hepler raffled a house off in support of the Winchester Child Parent Center and has been a large contributor to many charitable organizations in our area. His on-going support of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Relay for Life and the Boy Scouts to name a few help to make our area a great place to live. "We are very proud of the work Dave has done in Winchester and Frederick County and we know he will continue to be a caring member of our community," said Nancy Tilson Sinback, Executive Vice President of the Top of Virginia Building Association. She continues, "So often builders are overlooked as exemplary citizens in their community and we are glad to let the public know what our members do to make where we live a better place."
